Fall Colors? The leaves don't have to be on the trees. Early morning, especially with fog, or just before sundown, offers wonderful light for memorable shots of fence rows, old roads, old barns, etc.
Looking forward to seeing your pics.

So you are a leaf looker today? The reason I said that is because a few years back, I took my motohome, and my two schnauzers (the ones that passed away) and headed to the Great Smokey Mountains and there was this sign that said: "Welcome Leaf Lookers" I just loved it and yes your Smokey Mountains are beautiful. I enjoyed my time there so much as Homer and Leim. Beautiful , just beautiful and thats what I hope your day is Just Beautiful. Hugs, Patsy

Have a great time, I'll bet there's a lot of color in those mountains! Most of our trees now are bare so the only color is the blue and green fir trees and the yellow tamarack trees.

What a cool sculpture...we have something like that similar here in my area...a guy is laying on his back with his hands behind his head looking up at the trees...it is in the ground.
